"Thunderstorms PM" per yahoo forecast. Maybe its just afternoon. Highs of 86 and Lows of 75 degrees, so hopefully we'll be ok. |

Hi Gazza, Hi everyone,
1) The 1st gathering will take place on August 7th in an bar. Fans are expected to come in late afternoon or in the evening.
KING'S PUB

The KING'S PUB is downtown, about 400 yards from the Railway Station.

2) We haven't planned any meetings in the afternoon of the concert, because we don't know the stadium area (further away from the city) and because people want to queue rather early (most fans are in FOS). It's very difficult to plan anything as most people have their own habits the very afternoon of the concert.
But AFTER the concert, there will be a gathering in Nice.
When the concert is over, you take the bus from the stadium (there will be many buses)and you get off at the Railway Station. From there, you will have to walk to the Promenade des Anglais, and the meeting point will be at the public BEACH opposite the Negresco Hotel (37, Promenade des Anglais). The bus may drop you at the Promenade des Anglais along the beach : that would be perfect !
At 2 AM, we'll then go to the KING BAR again, which is about 700 yards from the beach.

By "downtown", I presume you mean in the old part of the city?
Also, the railway station would be "Nice Ville" ?
I probably wont be able to make it that evening, but it might be an idea for the rest of us to meet at that same pub on the day of the concert - although its across the city from the stadium. Its convenient for me, as my hotel is in Rue de France which isnt too far away, but I dont know how it suits the rest of you
Any suggestions? |

And the railway Station is NICE-VILLE.
In any case, Gazza, you and your friends are welcome to join us at the bar in the evening on August 7th.

gazza, think it's the best solution to meet up in the center.
i can be there round 1500
SSc is arriving at the airport round 1500,
so he should be in the center round 1600
depending on what time everybody wants to be at the concer
we can either go by bus, or share a taxi....? |

We have seats, so I've no real need to be there very early. Bus should be fine, I'm sure. |

I will arrive by car on 7th,hope early enough to get the King's Pub.
I've also reserved seats so we can meet us in the afternoon as suggested by Gazza, for those who want or can.
We have to decide where we meet together. Please Gazza be the chief for the afternoon 8th or I'll do it.
I suggest to make the list people interested in meeting in Nice 8th afternoon.

My flight arrives around 15:00 local time on Saturday...so no need to rush to the venue lol! I have FOS, so no need to be at the Palais early. SUD btw. |

I will be in the Ambassador Hotel. It is near the Promenade des Anglais.
