Topic: Interesting story - Brian Jones-Mick Jagger and poor Brigitte Bardot. It was 1966... Return to archive

Taras I have read the book by Daniel Wyszogrodzki named "The
Rolling Stones, unusually biography", so there is a lot
of interesting and funny stories. The one is about Brian
and Mick and Bardot. It was 1966 and Stones played in Rome,
Brigitte Bardot and Sofia Loren attended in the audience.
So, after the concert over Brigitte invited the Stones
to have a supper in a restaurant, as the book says she
had conversation with Brian, but nobody of the Stones come
to that restaurant, Mick come late for a half of hour, they
had a supper, they talked about the music, fashion, music,
films, Mick promised to compose the music for the next
Brigitte's film, but he never did... The history says
she was very upset with the such Stones' behaviour...
Can't understand nor Brian either Mick - how did they missed
so comfortable opportunity to spent a night with Brigitte
Bardot??? Hey, I'm jokin' Don't judge me too harshly
