With the flood of news in the local newspaper about the Pope Tour of the Americas currently rocking Mexico City. I didnt see an article of interest, now I received some phone calls and heads up, and is already up at IORR.
A documentary about the Rolling Stones AND PRODUCED BY THE ROLLING STONES THEMSELVES, focusing not only in the history of the group but the making and planning of the 2002-2003 world tour is being making by Michael Apted (Enigma, World in Action, Coronary Street, 35 Up, 42 Up, Thunder heart, Gorillas in the Mist, and much more)
He announced yesterday to the local media that he will meet the Rolling Stones this week, since the premier of the film will be before December.
It will be also shown in February next year when the band will rock the worlds biggest city for two shows at Estadio Azteca, with the possibility of more shows in smaller venues.
"Im happy about this documentary because Im working more in the field of research. I had the opportunity to be with the band in Paris some months ago and Im going to meet them these days to have a feedback from them about what I have now." Commented Apted in a press conference yesterday.

REFORMA EN LNEA
An additional note about the shows in Mexico City. The promoters of the shows will be Televisa instead of OCESA (the one for the last six shows), they always think big. I'm sure it will be a success. Televisa is the biggest TV Network and Media in Spanish and is between the first 10 TV networks in the world. IS not confirmed but maybe portions or the whole show will be broadcast live (or later) on TV
