Would be good to see a Stones single get to number 1, purely for bragging rights. Aint gonna happen though and I don't really care if they can't challenge the likes of the crazy frog and Oasis in the drivel that is the charts.
My friend told me at the weekend that he is really into SOL. He isn't a Stones fan atall either. He said he thought it was really pish first time he heard it monday morning, then by friday, he was absolutely loving it.
I haven't heard it yet. I'm scared, so very scared to hear it after listening to everyones opinion of it.If my friend likes it, i'm guessing it must be manufactured over produced pop-pap drivel. |

U2 flopped in the States after Vertigo, they only got 2 minor hits on the rock chart (at the same level of RJ now) and the last single didn't chart at all on any Billboard list. |
