mac_daddy my buddy just sent me this bit...

quote:
The show was 3/4 sold out when I scored my ticket at 10:10. I was 5th in line. I pulled Section 122, inside the first 15 rows from the floor $175.00. Its equivalent of being just past 1/2 way on the floor (TS section), but above the floor, staring down the right speaker stack. For $100, they were pulling Upper Deck for the people in front of me. One guy got "limited view" lower level for the side of the stage for $100. He was bummin'. The $60 puppies I believe are just obstructed view behind the stage, or the last 10 rows or so in the upper deck for the back of the arena.

time is on my side Albany tickets are GONE. It looks likes it is completely SOLD OUT and will probably be a hard ticket to get if it sold out this quickly which is good news for the scalpers and bad news for everyone else. Of course, the fantasy people on this board will tell you that it's not "really" sold out that the fact you can't get tickets is a figment of someone's imagination- a bedtime spook story to frighten people at night.

glencar I had no intent of seeing this show since it's so close to MSG but it's nice to see it sell out.

This is an up to date list of how ticket sales are actually going at all those other venues mentioned above. This list is for those interested in the truth as opposed to fantasy. keithriffhard damn! Can anyone tell me how many seats have been sold at the Delta Center because I thought there was a bigger fan base in Utah then just that! That sucks that it's wide open, Detroit Comerica Park is wide open too. Man come on Salt Lake, where's your dignity?
August 6th, 2005 09:35 PM
Snappy McJack Detroit could sell some more tickets if those dickheads could just drop those fucking sorry-ass $400 floor seats to a $160 price tag. They've been trying to get rid of those for the last 2 months, and nothing.

Uh, hello! Get it?!?!

Just thought I would double check some of these venues and found out that TAMPA is actually SOLD OUT. I also found a few pairs not singles at the Milwaukee show at the $350.00 and $160.00 price levels. However, given the locations and the fact I can't get three tickets together, it's clear this show is close to selling out so I'm not changing this from being a NEAR SELL OUT.

August 6th, 2005 11:26 PM
glencar I'm not surprised Salt Lake City isn't close to selling out. The Tabernacle Choir's in town that week.
August 7th, 2005 01:22 AM
keithriffhard that was actually funny! But come on, not everyone is Mormon and all devout and spiritual in Salt Lake, there's a lot of rockers and Stones fans.....but the place better be at least 95% full or I will be pissed
August 7th, 2005 01:22 AM
glencar I know that. I was just kidding.
August 7th, 2005 01:28 AM
keithriffhard but that was funny....it goes along great with the stereotype, but man when Metallica came in November.....yeah, Metallica knows what Salt Lake City is like at a concert
August 7th, 2005 11:13 AM
jb AS I said before, "happy, shiny, people smiling...."many of those shows are far from being sold out.
