I don't mean to steal your thread....
but if anyone's in that area on thursday prior to 11, theres a really good band that does a shit load of Stones covers and Stones inspired tunes playing right around the corner at 10pm
they're called "The Goods" - they cover Heartbreaker, Sway, Rambler, Torn & Frayed, Respectable, Bitch, Star Star, CYHMK, Hand of Fate etc... mixed in with ton of other R&R in the same vein.
if you get down early, I say make it a double header and stop in the Baggot Inn at 10 and then walk around the corner to see the Rolling Bones at 11. Thats my plan.
The Baggot Inn
82 West 3rd Street (between Sullivan & Thompson)
212-477-0622
The Goods go on at 10pm. Cover is only $5
it could make for an incredible Stones double dip if you can handle it
I've never seen the Rolling Bones..... I'm psyched to check them out!

will be wearing one of two shirts:
either a Rich Robinson tee. Or a Ford t-shirt. As in Marc Fuckin Ford.
and this just in...
in honor of his constant pursuit of public restrooms, The Goods will be making a long distance dedication of The Who's "Seeker" to our very own Joey.
obviously, this is a MUST SEE show |
