Well I think it has a great groove. Mick's vocals are untouched--just alot of funkified stops and starts, and of course all that "scratching" stuff going on. The ending is hot. Rock on Full Phatt. yeah--what/who is he/she anyway?? |

AOL To Preview Stones Remix
AOL's First Listen program will debut a remixed version of the Rolling Stones' classic "Sympathy for the Devil." As previously reported, a commercial single set for release Sept. 16 on ABKCO Records will feature radio-edit and full-length remixes of the song by the Neptunes, Fatboy Slim and Full Phatt.
The Full Phatt remix will be available this weekend in streaming form at AOL Keyword: First Listen.
The seven-track release will be in the hybrid Super Audio CD (SACD) format, and will also include the original 1968 version of the song, available for the first time in 5.1 surround sound. Additionally, a coupon included in the remix disc will offer buyers $3 off any of the Rolling Stones' 22 SACD releases, issued last year.
Here is the track list for the "Sympathy for the Devil" remix disc:
"The Neptunes Radio Remix"
"The Neptunes Full Length Remix"
"Fatboy Slim Radio Remix"
"Fatboy Slim Full Length Remix"
"Full Phatt Radio Remix"
"Full Phatt Full Length Remix"
"Sympathy for the Devil," the Rolling Stones

UK single issue - according to the advert in NME Origanals The Rolling Stones: The 60s (just out - great magazine)
is going to be; the origanal song, Fatboy Slim remix, Neptune remix (CD) + limited issue 7" & 12" - no tracklisting details.
The magazine also advertises the new copy (again) of 40 licks as having the neptunes remix added guess this is going to be the track promoted with video clips from one plus one? (well for the UK anyway) |
