i know of absolutely no connection of him with the stones.
however, he's got a cool website where you can play the blues guitar!!! for real.

What a bummer! He was great! I always loved his version of "We're Gonna Make It" He had such a great voice. Go see these old cats while they are still alive because they are dropping like flies.
