OSBOURNE BUYS EARLIEST BLACK SABBATH BOOTLEG
Veteran rocker OZZY OSBOURNE has bought a bootleg of what is thought to be the earliest recorded BLACK SABBATH performance, dating from November 1969.
The 56-year-old bought the reel-to-reel audio tape of the PARANOID stars playing at the Rugmans Youth Club in Dumfries, Scotland from local musician ALEX WILSON.
A deal was reached after a Black Sabbath fan website put Wilson in contact with Osbourne's Divine Recordings record label.
The tape is thought to have been stored in Wilson's basement for the last 35 years.
He says, "It is exciting to know Ozzy has my recording but I don't know if it will ever be released."

I hope for Ozzy's sake the tapes dont get unwound from the reel.
With his hands, I'd hate to see him try and put them back on again.... |
