Topic: Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings Return to archive

Just back from Dublin having seen Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings in Vicar Street, and have to say, it was a fantastic performance and night all round. A two-hour excursion into the deepest depths of soul, jazz, rockabilly and r'n'b. It was easy to tell Bill was enjoying his retirement from the Stones and being able to induldge his more personal music tastes. Now sometimes it can mean trouble when an artist is selfish like that, but the music was first-rate. Bill still can't shake his arse like jagger though.

Gazza Thanks Denis

Get any autographs or pics? Bill is usually pretty approachable apparently if its non-Stones items you want to get signed.

steel wls I saw him in Atlantic City, NJ in Aug 2001. The next morning in the lobby he took a picture with me, and signed my ticket stub. He was very cool. I have them both framed in my living room.
