He's also the best in this...
The recent drop in the stock market has meant some big losses for big stars. Paul McCartney, reports the London Sunday Times, is out more than $80 million. Phil Collins is believed to have lost about half the $28 million he had invested in stocks, and Sting is estimated to have lost about $15 million of his $237 million. But notoriously frugal Mick Jagger, according to the Times, offset his stock losses by diversifying in other investments. . . . Glenn Close looked so sleek at a recent party in Moscow, according to the London Independent, that designer Giorgio Armani complimented her look, right down to noting that she had no panty lines. “I’m not wearing any,” the actress replied, according to the paper, who explained that an airline lost her luggage. The next day, the designer sent her some clothes, including skivvies. . . .
Say it ain’t so. The London Sun has declared that Britney Spears’ music career “is in crisis.” The tab points out that her last album sold half of what her previous one did, fans have been booing her in concert, and some patrons in her new restaurant suffered food poisoning. “The money is just not coming in like it used to,” a source “close to Britney” told the paper. “To the music industry, that means one thing — her star is falling. Oh my no! Britney's star falling. Good, soon it will plummet back to earth. Then we can instruct her to go do a mall tour or one to half-empty ampitheatre's at Sea World like Spinal Tap. Or throw her in the droor along with the boy bands, Vanilla Ice, Tifanny, David Cassidy and every other useless teen idol. HAA! Britney's going down! The reason they boo is because they've finally figured out she has no talent. They feel gipped because she also lip synchs everything and the band is completely out of sight. So it's like you're watching a music video being filmed and it's live. And you're sitting there for a couple of hours!!! Why any person, especially irritable teenagers, would subject themselves to it is unbelievable. Hell some adults do it by going to see Cher live. I guess the shit has hit the fan. And our ears will be better for it. |
