Alright, how do you do it?! You're seat is kinda far away to the stage, the guys are doing their encore...you wanna go run up to the front and see the guys...maybe even take a picture or two...
What do you do? What are the secrets? What security measures are there? How do you sway the guards?
Any tips and cool stories are welcome!

Go during an acoustic song, Keith's acoustic will be a more forgiving blow than his tele! |

Ha! Good one.. well, I think it depends on the venue, and
the "attitude" in the establishment with fans who have paid
alot of money to be upfront, and the security.
As a concert-going addict like myself, my best advice to you
is to be inconspicuous, and refrain from drawing attention
to yourself. And the problem with people (and society) is,
that they're always lacking attention, so they try and be
these ones who stand out (like punks with Mohawks, or homies
with baggy jeans and gold-chains). That is not cool and it's
a heat score. What you want is to wear/be something that is
conducive to blending into society/concert. Thirdly, like
BB King always sang, "don't make your move too soon", so take
it at a gradual process (that's unless you can successfully
make your move in one step). But for the most part, you have
to be able to be flexible/sponteneous/versatile and be quick
to move. Fourthly, be EXTREEEEEMELY pollite. Too many fucking
people are rude cunts (and I've had them ejected out of many
a concert let me tell you) but if you are super friendly
and courteous, anyone will oblige that. I wouldn't go down
a major thorough-fare either. I'd zig-zag up.. sneaking
into rows, and if you're lucky, the people will be standing,
so what you can do, is cat-walk along the seats of the chairs
behind the people that they're reserved for. They won't even
see you cos' their backs will be to you while they're
transported into MISS YOU or something expected.. but keep
LOW and keep a LOW profile. Lastly, have fun, smile, go with
the flow and bring some pot along with you, leaving it at
various destinations/locations you've moved on from, as a
"parting gift" if you will..?
That's my best advice. I only got asked to turn around from
the front, and that was because I was on acid and well.. hehe
Cheers,

Get up front in stadium poses no problem if you are on the field...particularly towards end of show. In arena, more difficult but also easy if your on floor already. In addition, if it's just 1 person, substantially easier to move about. |

Get a ticket for any European show for $60, make sure you'll be in front of the stadium in the morning, and when the gates open in the afternoon.....RUN RUN RUN. I still make it to the very front at almost every show - at 47... |
