Tuesday August 1, 2006 - Concert Productions International and Donald K. Donald announced today that due to overwhelming fan demand, a second and final Rolling Stones - A Bigger Bang Concert has been confirmed for Friday, October 6th at Regina's Mosaic Stadium at Taylor Field.

Tickets to the October 8th performance (special guest Three Days Grace) sold out so rapidly that in order to accommodate Rolling Stones fans throughout Regina and Saskatchewan, the tour routing was changed to add an additional date to this tour!

Once again, there will be a limited number of pre-sale tickets available for Rollingstones.com fan club members and venue season ticket subscribers with the majority of tickets reserved for the public on sale.

tumblingdice01 We could have sold out a second show in Ottawa last year as well. Middle-sized cities that haven't seen the Stones in 40 years love 'em. It's the same old bigger cities that are saturated. Cohl should have realized this two tours ago and there wouldn't be so many pissed off fans today. Do stadiums in the smaller markets and theatres in the major ones. A combo that would never fail.

LMAO!! Was thinking exactly the same thing (well, in Dutch only, but hey...).

And TumblingDice01, you ARE hired, that's exactly what they (Cohl) should have done, especially for the extended Fall part.

And in Europe they should have played only clubs and small arenas for that matter, the Euro tour would have been sold out in a second! I'm hiring myself.

Wow, do you ever sound like a self-indulged cocky stereotypical American.
Ever been to any of those three places? I highly doubt it do to your immaturity and lack of knowledge in the matter.
I can't speak for Wichita or Missoula as you have, because I have never been to either place. I have been to Montana but never Missoula. Regardless, the Stones have an entire 5 star hotel booked up in downtown Regina for the entire weekend...if you must know...and to stop you from embarrassing yourself with assinine comments.

maybe thats a problem, maybe some people should give the medium sized/smaller cities a chance before writing them off in favour of the New Yorks, Torontos, Bostons of the world.
You know when New York City and Toronto are ranked as the #1 and #2 friendliest cities in the world something isnt right.

Never been on a tractor actually.
Roughies are doing ok. 3-3, good game on Saturday night against the Stamps. Gotta do it again this weekend in Calgary though.
George Reed...haha..good one.

The day I wake up and decide I'm going to Missoula for a vacation is the day I've been everywhere else already...
When people travel to Calif. you think they say, let's go check out Bakersfield? You know why?

What's in Bakersfield worth taking in? maybe it is indeed worth seeing.
for example, here in the summer you can take in CFL football, just down the highway you can check out "the tunnels", underground city/tunnels, linked to Al Capone, the Chicago Connection etc, some of the best fishing/hunting in the world, largest urban park in North American(yes bigger then Central Park in NYC), numerous summer/winter festivals, minor league calibre hockey, the RCMP National Headquaters and training academy for Canada's famous "Mounties", plus the national museum for the RCMP.
point is there is probably more to these places then you may think.

maybe its just me, and Ive only visited this board twice, but you sir/mam sure seem like the eternal pessimist of this discussion board. Why do say another 27K? Do you have access to market analysis numbers that the rest of us dont have access to or something or what?

LMAO. that's josh (jb = just bored). he enjoys being negative and gets a rise out of people with his know-it-all comments and predications - especially Canucks. do what most of us do, ignore him.

really, though, he's just havin' fun...

I base my figures on facts...see halifax sales (35k with expected 60k);Rogers Stadium humiliating the band with only 44k....Atleast Montcon made up for it with 85 as well as Ottawa(40k).
