Topic: Are they going to play them? Return to archive

Honky Tonk Man The two new songs that is. I bloody hope so. Someone below i think said that this is smelling like a nostalgia tour. Well that i do not agree with, but the Stones really should play the new ones. Surelt they will at least plug them at the Stadium gigs.

Also, on another note.

It is not possible to have $90 tickets behind the stage is it? I hope to god that i am not behind the stage. Fingers crossed

T&A The new songs will be played. No question. The single will be released just in time for maximum effect on the tour. I've heard that the Stones may in fact be reconsidering releasing just two new songs on 40 Licks - it might be more like 5 or 6. I've also heard that the additional new songs may be leftovers from earlier sessions (maybe Fiji Jim at long last?)...in the Tattoo You style. That would be just fine....

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board. The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
