sirmoonie From my vague recollection of that hair band, I think everything they did was a Stones cover, whether they admitted it or not. Blatant rip off artists.

Maxlugar Yeah that's pretty bad....

I saw, actually I had the misfortune of HEARING, something even worse.

The other day after work on Q104.3 in NYC they had on the reformed Vanilla Fudge and they were talking about the old days and blah blah blah.

Anyway, they were talking up their new album and seemed really excited. Do you know what this new album consists of? Cover versions of *NSYNC and Back Street Boys songs! I'm not kidding! Carmine Appice was talking all proud about it then they even played one!

Holy crap! Is this one of the signs of the Apocalypse?

Developing.......

A Wop Bop a-Loo Bop, A Wop Bang MAXY!

Prodigal Son Vanilla Fudge should be called Veniral Sludge. All they did was psychedelic, awash long versions of other people's songs. What now in their comeback? The 20-minute endless improvisational acid rocker version of "It's Gonna Be Me" then an organ solo performance of "Backstreet's Back." The sign of the apocalypse? No, the sign of a washed-up, sad, sorry band trying to cash in on a formula that never goddamn worked anyway. I can't believe Carmine Appice was actually in a band with the incomparable Jeff Beck.

padre Have you heard Guns'n'Roses doing Honky Tonk Women? You're lucky if you haven't.

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board. The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
