Jair Any fan here? I admit I like it, I mean, sometimes is fine, since you ignore those too drama tunes, like ah...ah...damn, forgot the names, but whatever!

I like the "pop" ones, like Its Raining Again, Dreamer, My kind of Lady, Oh Darling etc...

Anyway, I have only two Supertramp CDs. One is the best of, and the other has to be the worst of.

Most of the time, I have the impression there is an acrylic layer wrapping the Supertramp music.

MRD8 I've got a great quality DVD of their final show in '83 with Roger Hodgson in the band...in my opinion this was the last REAL Supertramp show...everything up to this day is just going through the motions for me...

Not a fan. It's Raining Again makes me want to hurt someone and I do not even know the words (except for the ones before mentioned). I admit, I know nothing about this band, but the singers voice gets on me nerves.

VoodooChileInWOnderl I don't like them, however I remember a song from their first album "Potter" and I liked it. But to be honest I loved how some girlfriends got down with some of the songs from the album "Breakfast in America"

glencar They're like the Black Crowes but with a better sense of melody.

Highwire Rob Those harmonica intros/solos are cool. I have their greatest hits and used to have the cassette of the live Paris concert.

Bonjour... Bienvenue une soirée avec Supertramp...

texile ya'll are full of shit....
supertramp was the soundtrack to my coming of age summer of 1979 -
i discovered the stones that year and so everything else is a good memory for me...
a watershed year for me and therefore, breakfast in america is a seminal memory for me.

jair, you are NOT alone.
'when i was young, seemed like life was so wonderful, magical...
and then they sent me away to teach me how to be logical, practical, cynical....'
that was me going into the seventh grade.

Highwire Rob Yes, luv the harmonica in some songs, and the lyrics--very smart satire!

I remember reading the liner notes in one of their albums where Roger Hodgson admits he wrote the song, "Breakfast in America" when he was like 18, and hadn't even set foot in America yet! That's clever writing.
