Topic: update from Virgin Records on the release BB Return to archive
August 1st, 2005 07:48 AM
thejuf Here is an update with regard to the release of A Bigger Bang, issued this morning:

Contrary to earlier announcements in Billboard, there will NOT be a Stones rarities disc featuring B-sides and songs from albums that have gone in and out of print. This was said to be released in November, but has been confirmed as ’untrue’. It remains unclear whether there will be a release of a special edition of "A Bigger Bang" by the end of this year .

ResidentMule you couldn't throw some good news in there could you. I was really looking forward to that. eh well, unlikely they would've put anything on it not circulating on bootleg unless the Stones were to do some deep digging. it didn't sound like much of the work of the band themselves

Soldatti I knew that the b-sides story was bullshit. Too much work for Virgin, isn't it?
