RICHARDS BUYS BEACH HUT
ROLLING STONE guitarist KEITH RICHARDS has spent $110,000 (GBP60,000) on a beach hut in idyllic West Wittering in West Sussex, England. The 62-year-old has bought the modest property as a tranquil haven far removed from his rock 'n' roll lifestyle - loud music is banned and there's no electricity or running water so Richards will be going back to basics. Richards fell in love with the area so much so that in 1998 he donated $55,000 (GBP30,000) to the village hall. The BROWN SUGAR hitmaker. who describes the location as "God's little acre," says, "I love that village and they've always been smooth with me."

I was surfing on Google Earth earlier. That's an amazing program. I zoomed right in to Mick' little place in the Carribean. I am going to see if I can find Keith's village.

West Wittering is in Sussex and yes, it's near the coast. I don't know anything about the area really, other than the fact that Keith’s already owned a place there since 1966, Redlands.
