Topic: Britney used to live at Keith's Return to archive
July 16th, 2004 05:31 PM
Mikey From today's NY Post:

Engaged pop princess Britney Spears is dumping her downtown digs.

The 22-year-old music mogul just listed her 4,400-square-foot quadruplex loft on East Fourth Street located on the top four floors of the famed Silk Building for just under $6 million.

The pad features rooms with 13-foot ceilings, several wood-burning fireplaces and a large rooftop terrace, according to the apartment listing by her Corcoran Group brokers.

Spears' sprawling eight-room NoHo apartment includes three bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a bright solarium and a professional kitchen, the listing boasts.

Spears' pad was once the home of Rolling Stone Keith Richards. Rap impresario Russell Simmons bought the unit from Richards in the mid-'90s for a reported $1.8 million.

She paid $3 million in 2002 a steal for an apartment that once listed for $4.85 million but was cut after 9/11.

Neighbors have included Cher, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.

Last year, Spears sold her Hollywood Hills mansion for $3.9 million, reportedly to spend more time in New York City.

The Corcoran Group declined comment.
