One of their best guitar works, Keith and Ronnie in fire. What you think? |

I just read in timeisonourside.com:
Line-up:
Drums: Charlie Watts
Bass: Ron Wood
Rhythm electric guitars: Mick Jagger
Lead electric guitar: Keith Richards
Vocals: Mick Jagger
TrackTalk
(Mick's) a good rhythm player now. He's the rhythm on Hold on to Your Hat, with Ronnie Wood on bass.
- Keith Richards, 1989

that song has Mick's style and playing written all over it. Dont think its anything special to be honest. One of the more forgettable tracks on Steel Wheels. The 3 stone-cold classics on that record are Continental Drift, Almost hear you Sigh and Slipping Away IMO.
The one song thats been overlooked and never played live that I like on it would be Hearts for Sale. I think that would have been quite nice live. Hold on to You Hat would probably sound too much like Sad Sad Sad (Jagger's other noisy guitar driven song) when played in concert
