I just can't get motivated at those prices. The only show that looks interesting to me is AC...and with a seating capacity of only 5000...and fighting all the casino concierges for tix...I don't see how I'd score a ticket for that one.

Boardwalk Hall holds a lot more than 5K.

Used to be called Convention Hall.
Same place they ended the US tour in December '89.

Trey Krimsin Well, there's no show near my neck of the woods, so I'll miss out once again. I missed the last shows due to a lack of money (Damn bills!!!!!). If they do tour again, I may have to get a credit card to buy some damn tickets! Me and my stubborness.....

Steel Wheels Lots of boo-hooing over prices and dates. Let's fucking rock and roll on this tour, have some fun, drink some beers, check out the ladies, dance and sing, and have fun with The Rolling Stones. What else would you people want to be doing?

If the thought of being at a show and having the lights explode in time with keith's guitar doesn't get the blood pumping, it's time to say goodnight!

I just love your enthusiasm, SW.

What venue are you planning on???

Good luck, tomorrow.

Soldatti It's funny that they're trying to get young fans in US, I think that the relative low sales of ABB there made impact in the band and they think that the young people are buying records nowadays. Too late IMO.
25th July 2006 09:31 PM
Steel Wheels I'm gonna try like hell for the AC show. I'll be the guy howling like a mad wolf and dancing like the devil with pure, unadulterated enthusiasm for my life's heroes THE ROLLING STONES.

They have given me so much joy over the years and I am truly happy for the Fall 2006 tour.

I am sure they have 2 lists of openers for each show, one list of bands who will open for a pittance if the shows sell well right out of the gate and another list of bands who they will have to share a piece of the pie with if they need a little help moving tickets.

Sun Oct 22 2006 Zilker Park Austin, TX

Looks like that's me...Zilker Park is beautiful. Austin City Limits has filmed a concert series there. A first class college town with tons of Dellnites(retired DELL employees who struck gold)

UT plays Nebraska in Lincoln on that Saturday(21)

This gig has the makings of being the best experience on this portion of the tour. A better mix of age groups than anywhere else
This is by far the best party town on the schedule. The night before is a saturday. Think of it, Saturday night in Austin. Live music clubs out the ass and since Ian lives there, maybe he'll set up a gig with a special guest or two just like H-town last Dec.
Thankfully UT is out of town or hotel rooms would be in very short supply.

GotToRollMe I'm in a spot. I'm all set up to buy tickets tomorrow but I've never bought through pre-sale before and apparently my RS.com membership is not "platinum" (although I can view Virtual Ticket). Even if I shelled out $100 tonight I'd be a "new member" and unable to buy tickets till Thursday the 27th.

If anyone can assist me in any way I would certainly appreciate it. Sheesh. Thanks.

26th July 2006 02:50 AM
FotiniD Damn those platinum subscriptions Why do they have to make it so difficult?

I wish I had a subscription to help you GotToRollMe. Unfortunately all I got is access to the Virtual Ticket as well.

Do you think good tickets will be gone by the time the pre-sale has ended though? I mean, these are lots of tickets so maybe not.. Either way, pre-sales in the States are a lot of fuss, aren't they! Starting so soon after the announcement, tickets selling out so quickly...

So people with those platinum babies, do come forth and give a helping hand to my great friend Get ready baby, here they come again!
26th July 2006 03:08 AM
pdog Fuck the pre-sales and shit. Very few good tickets go to die hards... Most get to scalpers, brokers and hangers on.
BUT!!! With hard work, patience and persistance, things always work out...

M...if you are doing the American Express pre-sale you DON'T need an rs.com passcode. At least I didn't last Fall.

Relax.......deep breaths.

Yeah right....I'm a nervous wreck.....couldn't sleep.

What this Band does to us!!!!

Hey P, you need a few more pictures in your signature. But I do like your Marilyn.

Yes dear, things always work out. But I will play the damn ticketmaster game this AM and hope no real work- related problems come up, while I am rejecting the shitty tickets they try to sell me
26th July 2006 08:34 AM
krh-one I'm so scared I won't get good tickets for the Chicago show because I'm too poor to have a credit card or a fan club membership. Why don't they give the tickets to students for free???

Or someone want to help make it happen for the kids???
