Topic: Sam Goody and Sir Paul Return to archive
07-23-02 02:04 PM
Mikey From the "I'm an ultimate hypocrite" file, Paul McCartney has employed the same scheme the Stones did by allowing those that sign up for Sam Goody's GetAccess offer ($60 value) to get presale access to Sir Paul's Compaq Center show on 7/23/02.

Not to bash Macca, but wasn't this the same guys who threw a barb the Stones' way, regarding money issues, asking "How much money does Mick need?"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Sir Paul the richest rock member?

I'm all for someone making as much as they can, but why throw stones? (no pun intended)

Also, I know this is old news, but from the "No shit" file, but Billy Bob Thorton and Angelina Jolie broke up. That's all for now.

With a net worth of over $1.2 billion, I believe it's David Bowie.

Scot Rocks I think it's Paul, in the Sunday Times Rich List he had something around £750 million about 1.2 billion dollars, well more if the dollar keeps falling...

Lazy Bones And now that he's touring the US again, that may leave him uncontested.

jb Why does he have to interfere with the Stones tour? The stones were gracious enough to hold off on their tour until he finished so as to not take ticket purchasers away. This is very unprofessional.

Flash77 Well I just bought tickets for Paul in Phoenix. I feel as though the $60 I paid for membership to that damn Sam Goody thing is paying off now between Paul and the Stones.

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board. The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
