Topic: Hit a moose last night. (NSC) Return to archive
27th July 2006 07:15 AM
Ten Thousand Motels In all my years living in Maine, last night was the first time I've been driving in a car and hit a moose. Luckily we were only doing about 40 MPH. I was on the passenger side, looked up and there was a big fuckin' moose in the road. The driver, Dan, slams on the brakes. Smack! The moose slammed into the windsheild and shattered it all to hell. I'm glad he didn't go through it. He then ran off into the woods. We have no idea how badly hurt the moose was....the cops couldn't find him. At any rate me, Dan and his girlfreind are OK, a bit shook up is all. The car's been towed. I've been picking bits of glass out of my feet and legs (I was wearing sandals and shorts)since last night though.

Glad you and your friends are ok.
hope you re not very injured.

Factory Girl TTM, I hope you're ok. Maybe see a doctor?

There are tons of deer where I live.

Someone post a deer pic, please.

No. In fact I had picked up a six pack of beer and because of all the commotion I never got around to drimking it last night.

GotToRollMe Holy shit, TTM! If you're still picking bits of glass out, maybe you should go to the ER, just as a precaution? I'm very glad to hear you're all okay. Whew!

Lazy Bones Glad to hear you're ok. Usually they 'win'.

Cow (female) or bull (male/large, wide antlers)?
27th July 2006 11:03 AM
JumpinJackFrash Glad to hear you're okay!

Question: Would it have been slightly more humorous if instead of falling out of a coconut tree (bush), Keith instead had a run-in with a moose?
