he did.Clearly. Nobody can call himself the best fan or the bootleg dealer...
But thanks to this guy, many of us got Ronnie's London show very quickly, and were able to discover jewels like "place pigalle" for example...that's why I don't spit on him, he may have a good reason to close the download section.

as far as introducing fans to material... that gives this guy too much credit...
his offering list bears a striking resemblence to what is offerred up in lossless formats via bit torrent...
some folks dopwnload the sources, and burn cds and sell them - lots of bootlegs have been doing this for the pasts everal years... this rockpassion guy downloads the lossless sources, rips them to mp3 and then calls them something different half of the time. that is just confusing, and it soils the trading pool...
and for the record, to the best of my knowledge, the highest quality recording of that recent ronnie and fiends gig was seeded HERE first. rockpassin had the squelchy mp3 files first, but WE had the real mcCoy (all thanks to gazza, btw)...

Hey hey hey. Why bash this guy??? He's a friend and a fellow fan of mine. In my opinion there's only about 10 traders that can match this guy. I can promise you he's tottally cool. Really. Great guy. Very kind too. I guess you're the one with mental problems dude..... |

Exactly. However, crappy mp3 sites like RP normally donīt bother me. I guess they are a necessary evil.
But it pisses me off when a new show gets put out in a lossless format and then it immediately shows up on an mp3 site even though the taper specifically asked for his material not to be degraded in quality. |
