I play it open G capoed 4th fret: it sounds great!!!
for the intro riff you got to swap around 3rd and 5th fret

J.J.Flash Well, after watching R'n'R Circus a lot of times, I started to play following that sound. I've checked Brian's hands, the position, using the Power Chord of B, actually B5 in the 2nd fret, the B root in the 5th string and all the rest I took from ears and OK, that's the way I play Jumpin' Jack Flash. But I always play the Studio intro, very simple too.

Mathijs Soul Survivor, if I remember correctly Keith plays JJF in standard tuning at the RR Circus, he plays the E, F# and A chords as power chords at the first and second positions.
