My C drive for whatever reason all of a sudden is not reading any cd I put in, I re-booted the computer several times but still nothing, if anyone can help, a million thanks....

Is the disc drive still showing up on the my computer page ?

Try powering down,unplugging and then reconnecting the wires on the back of cd drive. Then power back up.

It may have just failed,as mine did.Pretty cheap to replace nowadays.
