INJETT I remember seeing on TV years ago a live performance or a promo like video of the Stones 'Paint it, Black' with the band performing the song with a back-drop of psychedellic images and colors. Does anyone know from what this is from and if it has been released on vhs or DVD? I also had a question about the video release of the film 'Sympathy for the Devil'. I was wondering if the video shows the Stones do a complete version of the song or does the video ONLY contain parts of the song.

SirMuddy Hi there!
Paint it black:
2 or 3 possibles sources

1- Steel Wheels TV Special from december 1989
(Video Bootleg, try WinMx)
2- Live at the Max (available on dvd and on WinMX sometimes)
3- Barcelona 90 (Available on WinMx
I think you're talking about #1

Sympathy for the devil...
you won't see the Stones play it...
you'll hear many version (part.. etc)
you'll hear a final version and see Studio footage durint it

The absolute version of SFTD is on R'n'R Circus
