TheSavageYoungXyzzy Hey, there's a misprint in that Marquee poster!

The band should read "Charlie Watts and the Rolling Stones"!

Happy anniversary, Stones!

stonedinaustralia and it's funny to think that when they started even the older ones of us here were probably pre-schoolers

thanks for the rare pics. voodoo - i've seen stu's note book before but the gig poster and the current header are both new to me

that shot from the first gig is a wonder - funny how the girl dancing on the left looks like mick - wonder who's around these days who was in the audience and what they thought at the time

41 years - there's been a lot of water under a lot of bridges in that time and the stones have been there through it all for me and you

also, when looking at the header and thinking of all that was to come of it i am moved beyond words...

thanks voodoo

thanks stones

thank you ladies and gentleman

Not sure if is from that gig, but it's from 1962 and it's the ONLY photo I have seen from the Stones PERFORMING live this year. It was scanned from Bill Wyman's "Rolling with the Stones"

sirfito There are some others (2, I think) in a Roy Carr's "Stones - an Illustrated Discoraphy".
One from Keith and the other from Mick.
Both maybe from de July 12, 1962 as it the book said.
Cheers,
Fito
