GhostofBrianJones More beautiful pictures of our beloved Brian Jones! These last
two you posted are so beautiful and so clear!! It is absolutely
amazing. I wish I could buy you a beer for every picture you have
posted. Maybe if I make it to Cheltenham I just might do that.
I love Brian Jones so much! I miss him so darn much too!
Thanks as always you are a real sweet man.

diegostone In memory of Brian

He is not dead
He is not sleeping
He woke of the dream of the life

Mick Jagger

Tom That poem is not by Mick Jagger is "Adonais," a poem by Percy Bysshe Shelley

Peace, peace! he is not dead, he doth not sleep-
He hath awakened from the dream of life-
'Tis we, who, lost in the stormy visions keep
With phantoms an unprofitable strife,
And in mad trance strike with our spirit's knife
Invulnerable nothings.-We decay
Like corpses in a charnel; fear and grief
Convulse us and consume us day by day,
And cold hopes swarm like worms within our living clay.
The One remains, the many change and pass;
Heaven's light forever shines, Earth's shadows fly;
Life, like a dome of many coloured glass,
Stains the white radiance of Eternity,
Until Death tramples it to fragments.-Die,
If thou wouldst be with that which thou dost seek!
Follow where all is fled!-Rome's azure sky,
Flowers, ruins, statues, music, words are weak
The glory they transfuse with fitting words to speak.

GhostofBrianJones Hi! That picture of Brian with the fur like hat on and the fancy
jacket was taken at the Cannes Film Festival in 1967 when he
was there and the same time with Anita and she was with Keith.
There are pictures of Brian and Anita sitting at a table and it is
obvious Anita is trying to not pay attention to him. These pictures
are for publicity of the movie Degree of Murder. Later that night
Keith took off for his hotel room and Anita and Brian were in his or
her hotel room and he was trying to get Anita to come back to him.
But she refused and went with Keith. This particular picture
may be one where he is standing with Anita and both are smoking.
Anyway it is good to see him smile as usual. Thanks for the pictures again.

TooTough My favourite from 1965, Brian standing in front of a dozen policemen, minutes before the Circus Krone Show. The sign in the back says "Smoking prohibited by the Police". That´s Brian!

GhostofBrianJones Oh I Love that last picture of him with the big grin and the cigarette
that is fantastic!! Never saw that one before ever!

Okay to give people an idea of what I looked like some years
back go to the thread entitled Thank You and Good Night and go
to page #3. Scoll down until you see the redhead in the turquoise
bikini. I am built just like her, only my hair is redder, and was thicker at that time. No am NOT making this up, this is the first
picture of a female who is as close to my build as I have ever
seen. I am somewhat older now, but I honest to heaven did look
like that when I was her age. No lies, no bragging, just the facts
ma'am.

GhostofBrianJones Hey I can remember wearing my hair like that in a HUGE French
roll YUCK!! What are those girls doing dressed in those costumes? I mean where is that where they are dressed like that?
Brian appears to be overwhelmed by those beautiful showgirls.
However if that were to have taken place in later years, he may
have reacted a little differently, more assertive perhaps?
