stewed & Keefed Interesting comment from Brian Jones: like a rolling stone message board.

My Money's on Keylock

The central figure in this awful tragedy, other than Brian himself, of course, keeps coming back to one man -Tom Keylock - present at Cotchford that night, although he never admitted so; the disturbing time frames, like getting that mysterious guitar and making the trip back in light-speed, the alleged death bed "confession" from Frank Thoroughgood who conveniently died before anyone else could talk to him; Nicholas Fitzgerald's disutrbing account of being terrorized by Keylock on the night of the murder; Keylock's masterminding of the bonfire burning all of Brian's possessions, or, maybe possible EVIDENCE against him; Keylock's hiring of Thoroughgood, of whom Keith Richards was highly dis-satisfied with on the repairs done at Redlands; only Keylock is present at all of these events.

Now, warp speed to 2004 and add in the factor that Keylock knew that there was nothing on earth he could do at this point to prevent the 10 years of research on Wooley's part that went in to making this movie, he was powerless to block Wooley's acquistion of the $10 million in funding, and he was helpless to prevent James Bond scriptwriters Purvis & Co from coming on board - so WHAT does Mr. Keylock do? Simple - he becomes a "consultant" to "add a touch of authenticity" (quotes mine) but in reality he'll help throw suspicion off himself, nudge the movie plot WAY off the track and once again name Thoroughgood as the murderer - giving more credence to his own alibis.

There's more - Keith Richards once described Brian Jones as "built like a little Welsh bull", assuming of course, that Brian was no push-over; a tough scrappy, fighter when need be. A drunken, smoking, out-of-shape, middle aged man (Thoroughgood) would have a rough time of it trying to overpower Brian; a strong, in-shape ex-marine, (Keylock) - wouldn't.

Most likely Keylock acted on orders from above; most likely he had help subduing Brian. Most likely he's your man.

GhostofBrianJones Dear Stewed and Keefed:
Hi! I agree with you on that. Tom Keylock was never to be trusted.
He was a manipulator and a user and abuser of his position
amongst other things. But I know someone who is doing an investigation on Brian's death also and this individual lives in the
UK. When the facts and the investigation is complete they will
be turned over to the police. At this time it is still being worked on.

I don't know why they decided to pick on Brian. Why didn't they
pick on Bill, or Keith or Mick? Was Brian the most vulnerable?
They were what they call today STALKING him, harassing him.
They did a LOT of things back in the 60's that they would never
do today as their butts would be fined and even in the slammer.
I don't think Tom Keylock has a conscience, he thinks everybody
is stupid except him. He is going to be in for a BIG surprise.

Glad you started Brian Part 3 I knew you would. Since February
is Brian birthday month I know you will do something fantastic to
honor our golden prince. Am looking forward to it. Thanks again
for the pictures. You keep going, you are doing a great work.

say.

Thanks again, you do justice.

stewed & Keefed Mat Treiber was in the studio recording in Los Angeles last week at
the request of British film producer/director Stephen Woolley (The Crying
Game, Backbeat). Woolley has asked Mat to have a go at the Robert Johnson
song, "Love In Vain," made popular by the Rolling Stones in 1969 with an Ed
Sullivan performance. The recording is being considered for inclusion on a
soundtrack to a very highly anticipated film Woolley has finished shooting
depicting the life & death of Rolling Stone Brian Jones. Highly acclaimed
actor Leo Gregory has the leading role of Brian Jones. The film will be
released at the end of the Summer.
While in the studio Treiber also laid down versions of "Walking the
Dog," and "It's All Over Now" both bluesy numbers favored in the day by the
young Rolling Stones.

Back Street Girl

"Brian Jones"

Once there was a man I didn't know

I saw him in a band

He flew high too fast he didn't know

where he would even land

He let someone be his eyes

and soon he lost all his sight

Paranoid days and nights

he lost his life

Brian Jones he used to be a man

but did not understand

why he would be the one

to lose all that he had

when everything turned bad

He did not understand

He ruled both time and space he had it all

but they cast him an evil eye

And so the stage was set fate let him fall

when he threw that final die

He lost his soul late one night

when he needed a helping hand

With only fears left for life

he left for life

Brian Jones he tried to be a man

but did not understand

why he would be the one

to lose all that he had

when everything turned bad

He did not understand
