TheSavageYoungXyzzy I love Harvard Square.

I went in today, walked out with FIVE, count em, FIVE Stones albums, for under fifty bucks. (All used. Goat's Head Soup, Emotional Rescue, Undercover, Bridges To Babylon [nifty special cover edition], and the fifth is in detail below.)

I found, in a used store, "Attackxile on Main Street", a bootleg of outtakes and alternate mixes of stuff from Exile. Most of those are mediocre, poor production etc. But the bonus - five songs from Perth, Australia, 8/24/73, were magical. If I could play "Rocks Off" as good as that one, I'd save it 'till the end of the concert because my pants might be sticky when I was done. Although Mick does sound like he's singing with a runny nose, and really betrays his Britishocity ("I only get my rocques off when I'm sleeping!").

If anyone wants this sucker, I'd be happy to burn it for them. I'd love to trade, but if you're like me (or were like me until today) and never even seen a bootleg, hey, life is good.

Still lookin' for mickboy's "Exile On Main Street Revisited". Any other recommendations for great live albums?

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board. The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
