GhostofBrianJones Yes those are the ones! Yes indeed. Thank You for posting
them. The one on the stool always fascinates me. He looks
rather aggravated or defiant I can't figure out which if any.

Thanks for all the beautiful pictures.

LOVE TO S&K!!!

Philip He looks like he's havin' a good scratch of his ....! :-()

GhostofBrianJones Like one of those Michael Jackson grab the crotch jobs?
That is funny Philip I never noticed that! Maybe he is making
that face because he itches?! Oh I need to shut up here.
Whatever reason that is a very strange picture. Oh well.
What can a person say.

GhostofBrianJones That is an interesting picture of Keith & Brian in front of LBJ's picture. I wonder
if Brian is just clenching his fist or giving the one finger salute? The expression
on Brian's face is interesting too.

He's giving the wanker salute.
9th May 2007 02:42 PM
GhostofBrianJones Is that the same as the one finger salute? The one finger
salute (which has been around since I was about 12 years old)
is from what I understand universal. I have one picture
maybe more with BJ doing the 1 finger number.

From what I saw on TV Lyndon Johnson got the ball rolling
and finalized on the Civil Rights Amendment. He may not have
been popular due to the Viet Nam War but he did a lot of
good in some other areas. That is what I got from watching
documentaries on him so far. Politics is not my best
subject to discuss.

Isn't the term "wanker" another name for what BJ is grabbing
in that one picture with the red pants and black sweater.
Or is it the red trousers and now I can't think of the UK
name for sweaters! Need more coffee.

GhostofBrianJones Thanks, jumper- I knew it was an odd word (at least to me). The word jumper
has a totally different meaning clotheswise in the U.S.. It is a sleeveless dress a woman wears with a blouse or sweater underneath. I wore them in High School.I kept wanting to say vest.

I wish Harry Enfield who does the Travelocity Gnome on their commercials
would come here and do a show or something. He is so darn funny! Completely
hilarious in those commercials. Same for Rowan Atkinson-Mr Bean. I just die
laughing at him during his comedy routines.

Anyone here like George Carlin or Robin Williams?

okey..now i need suggestions, opinions and help..or maybe some people even know more about it.
i always was sure that in this picture brian was just taking a quick nap somewhere backstage (this pic always looked hilarious to me)..because it looks like if he got a pillow underneath. BUT today for the first time came this thought to my mind that he's maybe crying!?!? (and for the first time it looked sad to me)
but on other hand i was wondering: 1. who took the photo? 2. would brian cry infront of strangers and much people? 2. was the photographer even a stranger or a "friend"? ...cuz in some way it looks very much like those private "calm before the storm" moments before a concert to me..where usually no random photographers would get access to the backstage.
that is all weird to me.

my second subject i need help, suggestions to:
in one interview brian said regarding david bailey:
"a nice guy, but he's not my favourite photographer."
brian very much liked photography...there are alot of pictures around where he's holding a camera in his hands or even shooting himself... so i wonder: does anybody know who was his favourite photographer?? is it maybe quoted or said somewhere in some book?

i hope anybody can help me in answering my questions...thank you everyone in advance!

GhostofBrianJones Hi! According to what I have read, he was resting because of exhaustion from
touring. He laid his head down for a undetermined amount of sleep to refresh
himself. Notice the sodas to his right. I hope he slept for at least an hour or
more because I am sure he really did need the rest.

LOVE TO S&K!!

Found more pictures will send to ya.

Hi Sophia! Love to you! Love to all BJ fans on here as well.

yeah...i noticed the soda, too...so typical backstage...thats how i know it from my touring experiences... it must have been before their concert cuz the soda wasnt even touched.
it must have been so uncomfortable to sleep that way...poor boy.. its a shame there were no sofa's or couches...these days its normal to have them.

MUCH LOVE!

A wedgy would have been hard to resist.
14th May 2007 05:54 PM
GhostofBrianJones I don't know if BJ ever cried in front of strangers. I heard he cried a lot
during RNR Circus because of depression, knowing he was losing his band,
and possibly being under the influence. Pete Townshend stated this during
an interview about BJ crying. Most of the performers there were pretty wasted.
Supposedly Bob Dylan got drunk on his butt at an event with Andy Worhol and
berated Brian which allegedly made BJ cry but other say he just smarted back
at Bob in stead. I don't know for sure. Mick, Brian and I would assume Charlie
would cry "in public" if overcome by emotion as I have read this in other books
and articles. It is good to cry if one feels like it and not bottle it up inside
where it can do a lot of damage to your health and well being, from what
doctors have indicated in articles. That is all I know.

GhostofBrianJones I have the first one, I can try to make it bigger, with
Photoshop. The other one I have not seen before, but I can
try with that one too. In the meantime maybe someone has
a larger one.

Sent more pics to the sites.
