Hi. I'm jonesing for a hollow body guitar right now. Which famous Stones songs are ones where Keith uses a hollow body? |

probably lotsa blues and Chuck Berry songs
i know he used one on Let it bleed at Madison Square Garden 2003, dunno if he normally does
Slippin' away
Gimme Shelter
When the whip comes down
Satisfaction
Its only RnR
Sympathy
Live with me
No expectations -awesome together with Ronnies weissenborn!
Rocks off
Everybody need somebody to love
Worried about you
(to name a few)
im not gonna say he always uses them on these songs but.
also i think it depends alot on what kinda stage it is... take a look at Madison Square 2003 video there he uses them alot.. it kinda creates a more intimate feeling with them guitars
are you considering getting one? go for it man they're wicked
i dont have one myself (yet) but i loooooove playing them!!

finally got one recently after 30 years of playing - while only a "J&D" copy of a gibson it looks beautiful - fantastic cherry red colour - just like chuck's - and it sounds great
wish i'd got one a long time ago
one interesting side benefit is it's so much lighter (as opposed to my fender tele which is a heavy piece of work) and so much more comfortable to play |

I've fallen in love with the Gibson Dot. |

I'm no gearhead but isn't there a difference between a hollow and semi-hollow? |

neither am i blind dog - i refer to those types of guitar as used by chuck berry (for example) as semi acoustic (they are thin line) - then you get those hollow bodies that are set up for amplification but aren't much smaller (thickness wise)than an ordinary acoustic (see scotty moore (for example) back in the 50's) |
