morocco I think this is a great compilation. Does anyone have the remastered version released in April 2005? Is the sound vastly improved?

Dutch Michael D. i've got made in the shade and sucking in the seventies, only thing i can say is that they sound fresh and almost new.

morocco Thanks for the reply. So, it sounds good? That's good. This CD is advertised with "elegant new packaging." What does it come with?

morocco You are correct, the short answer would have been "No."

Jair Both are cool, fresh recordings....but no new package etc, at least here in Brasil. By elegant they can be saying now there's no that stupid logo "digital audio"?

Soldatti I heard MITS on a store and nothing new, the mixes are similar to the originals and the only strange is Rip This Joint, it sounds different to the Exile version with almost zero bass and very raw.

Bitch I got both MADE IN THE SHADE & SUCKING IN THE 70's. They both sound good and are remastered (digital?), but I like Sucking in the 70's better.

There are NO pictures on either CD, nothing at all. Just the cover art, thats it. Could have been more interesting with some 70's pics, origianl release dates, background info, etc.

morocco Thanks for the replies, everyone. Although I have the original version of MITS, there is something special about this collection for me; it's perfect. I think I'm gonna order the remastered version. Crazy huh?
