Mel Belli Love the look of determination on Ronnie throughout. Man! has that boy lost his chops in the last 25 years.

And, on "She's So Cold," can someone say "Where's the 1?!"

Ronnie was worse in She´s so cold.He misses the intro and was lost in all song but Bill and Charlie were always perfect. What a rythmin section!

They will sell out several bingo Halls, VWF's, and outdoor amphitheaters (provided several name acts are included on the bill!). They will strive to reach Kate's success, and get close. Lets hope they learned from NYE last year and this year spend it at the "U.S. Weekly Magazine Bash" as special Guests of Kate!

Crowes are not "hip" or the "in" band. Very tough for them to draw. Thankfully they could care less and dont let that effect them from going out and doing whatever the hell they want whenver they want.

the good news...they will be doing a 3 night run this NYE!!!!

I plan on taking PDog to the show! And smoking H!

Thankfully they have someone to financially support them, because at the current pace.....they just are not earning enough money to subsidize their futures....what about the kids!!!

jb I saw Chris Robinson's wife this weekend in a dreadful movie, bur she is a very attractive young lady.

Really? More than, say, 10 years ago when they were touring *and* selling some records?
17th July 2006 03:13 PM
jb The Brothers must get $$$from royalties, no???
17th July 2006 03:15 PM
Mel Belli Yeah, but I can't imagine that number has grown much, if at all, in recent years.
17th July 2006 03:27 PM
Saint Sway their wallets took a big hit during the hiatus (aka High Ate Us)

past near and a half on the road has been quite lucrative

their doing fine now

until they fuck things up again

(oh you know they will...)

Ticket prices in the $35-45 range certainly must help, but the show I saw was worth every penny.

Last years tour could not have been that profitable, they were the support act on Tom Petty's tour and their only headlining shows were in small venues. They did play MSG once, but that experiment failed miserably. It is really unfortunate, because they are a very good band.

Kate/Goldie must back them financially, see (Kato of Rock and Roll).

Do they use a tour bus or are they required to fly coach?
17th July 2006 03:44 PM
jb Most groupos have huge buses, no???

The word on the street is yes! No one has given me a thumbs up for any movies this summer, so I'm going to Pearl Jam shows...
I may have hit bottom!
