parmeda I'm not a man of wealth or fame...just simply a die-hard Stones fan from the midwest anxiously waiting for September! Just thought I'd jump in the water here and let all of you know that I appreciate the entertainment value that you've all brought forth these past few weeks for me. Thanks...

P.S. There was a discussion about whether or not "Sympathy For The Devil" should be on the set list a few weeks back...for the record, my vote is YESSSSSS!

steel driving hammer What part of the Mid West?

Sympathy eh?

I can see the cable news shows baiting the Stones to
play songs like Sympathy, Gimme Shelter, Shattered,
Before The Make Me Run, Paint It Black,....etc.
Trying to claim the Stones are evil in these timid times.

And I kind of agree, kind of...
It's gonna a little rough to choose a setlist
that the media/critics wont bitch about.
How bout some older ones? Greatest (forgotton) Hits.

Not in order...

As Tears Go By,
Around and Around,
Long Long While,
She Was Hot,
Can You Hear The Music/Me Knockin'
Flight 505,
Miss Amanda Jones,
Silver Train,
Had It With You, B stage?
I'm Free,
Through The Lonley Nights,
Sad Day,
Under The Boardwalk,
Lady Jane,
Mothers Little Helper,
It Must Be Hell,
Out Of Time,
Torn and fucking Frayed,
Walking The Dog,
Soul Survivor,
Gimme Little Drank,
Miss Amanda Jones,

Shit and so much more.
Torn and fucking Frayed,

parmeda I graciously accept the warm welcome!

Steel, to answer your question: I hail from the Windy City.

scope Hey SDH, I would really love it if they played CYHMK, as alot of us have hoped for. What I'm really intrigued by is the listing of Lady Jane. That was one of my early Stones favorites. You don't see that listed in most wish lists. Either of those 2 on the set list would be a dream come true for me.

steel driving hammer Hey, I hail from Champaign IL!

Ya Ya's to the Sept shows? Me too!

I think Mick has been saving Lady Jane for the "going out"
It'l make the women just weep, prolly me too however.

..."I must take my leave for promised I am." Damm thats good.

parmeda Steel...
Ya-Ya's, bells, whistles, whatever it takes! If you notice anyone doin' The Harlem Shuffle down the main aisle Sept. 10th...that would be me. I'll also be going to the Oct. 4th show at FedEx Field in Maryland.
Who says you can't mix business with pleasure?

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board. The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
