I am now so excited that I am typing this with me nipples .
I love boots ( GOOD boots ) from the '81 tour . Whenever I hear tracks from these boots I get that ' The Party Has Just Started Feeling ' . Indeed , I hear barkers and see colored balloons falling down all around me .
Flacky !

i always fantasize that taylor will show up at a gig and soar through YCAGWYW in all his melodic glory. |

Hearing him play on YCAGWYW just makes you wonder what could've been... |

Mel; I agree 100%...the only thing about this setlist and the whole 81 tour I have a problem with is...Who wants lead saxaphone on almost every track!....Found the Ernie Watts experiment annoying....and all songs were so up tempo they ended up sounding much the same.... |

Yeah!
And tinny guitars.
Glad I am not the only one that finds the whole 1981 thing grossly overblown!!
Now '78..... |

Ernie Watts was definitely a bad fit. The second he starts playing, it makes me think of the "Saturday Night Live" band. Not good.
Hearing Ronnie try to cut heads with Taylor is only slightly less annoying, though. |

amen - i hated that noise in 81 - and yes 78 was amazing and almost punk with mick's guitar and voice all over the place ....
the some girls stuff never sounded the same after that.....
and the thought of ronnie trading licks with taylor is unnerving... |
