July 13th, 2005 04:49 PM
Dutch Michael D. they haven't played FOOL TO CRY the last 10 years live, i think they should try this one on the B Stage, along with Can't you hear me knocking, parachute woman...
July 13th, 2005 04:50 PM
erikjjf Fool To Cry was played in 95, 97, 98 and 99.

again Erik is right on! also, i cant see Knocking working on the small stage as there are many other instruments being used...typically the small stage is used for just he main band plus chuck (bobby did come down for Brown Sugar though)

July 13th, 2005 04:59 PM
erikjjf Well...it was only played a few times on those tours. Copenhagen 95, Winnipeg 97, Amsterdam 98, Pittsburgh 99 and a few others. But there are some decent versions out there.

Taptrick
I don't think Mick can pull off that prolonged falsetto for ER and although I would love to hear it I don't think most others do. I see at as a ittle more difficult than Worried About You.
July 13th, 2005 08:05 PM
Soldatti Emotional Rescue and She's so Cold.
Memory Motel too but they need to rehearse it more.
July 13th, 2005 08:11 PM

Sharks will cry
July 13th, 2005 10:41 PM
corgi37 Sway will never be played. Keith wont do it.

I personally, would like to see them be a bit gutsy, and do Cocksucker Blues on a B stage, or theatre show.

And, believe it or not, Come on would be cool.

I've said it a billion times, but WE LOVE YOU would be a awesome oncore - and a perfect song to rest Cant always get what you want.

P.S. I know i am being picky, but the post above mine. SHARKS WILL CRY - I love it!

ResidentMule Under My Thumb (I have a good feeling about this one this tour)
Memo From Turner (I can dream...)
Can't You Hear Me Knocking
Dead Flowers

I actually have kinda low expectations about bringing in rarities to the setlist this tour. they did so many gems on the Licks tour that I think there's not to many they didn't already do last tour that I would be very excited about. but if they do Under My Thumb I'll be happy enough
I'm gonna try to make it all the way to Philly not reading the setlists so at least I'll be surprised

Steel Wheels I want to hear Going To A Go Go and the entire new album. I really want an album that the band loves so much they play big chunks of it.

Yeah! Imagine the break after the "last" song... people waiting... and then, the piano playing WE LOVE YOU intro, and everybody joining in the chorus weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee loooooooooove you... imagine all the lightning effects that could be developped for a song like WLY, it would be really awesome.

Except nobody else really knows that song. But feel free to sing it during the encore regardless...
July 14th, 2005 01:20 AM
glencar True Stones fans know it!
July 14th, 2005 02:11 AM
Mr Jimmy Everything Is Turning To Gold

(but only if played with guitars and no Chuck)
July 14th, 2005 02:43 AM
beer Sway
Crackin Up
If you can't Rock me/Get off my cloud
No Expectations
Slave
Tops
Under my thumb '81 style
..

'Time Waits' can't be played without Taylor. that's a fact jack.

July 14th, 2005 07:43 AM
sonicrock too much blood
everything is turning to gold
sing this all together
carol
parachute woman
come and bring your electric guitar
fingerprint file
i just wanna see his face
feel on baby
and any covers of the ramones the wished to play
July 14th, 2005 08:03 AM
ziggypayne
Hand of Fate
Can't You Hear Me Knockin'
Sway
Torn And Frayed
Not Fade Away
Sister Morphine
Out of Control

And even though they've been played a lot over the years, I've yet to see:
Midnight Rambler
Rocks Off
Let It Bleed
Before They Make Me Run

Not going to make a call on new tunes, until the album is out. While fresh material would be nice, I don't want a bunch of fluff (ala Don't Stop, most of BtB) in the set.
July 14th, 2005 08:21 AM
gimmekeef If You Cant Rock Me (opener)..The band's On Stage!
Send Her To Me
Spider and Fly
Love is Strong
Roll Over Beethoven
Dirty Water (Standells cover song)(Boston your my home!)
Let It Rock
We Had It All (Keith)
Heart of Stone
Dandelion

and most importantly...at least 4 new songs from Manhattan Beach!

Add those 2 to my list, Crackin up in LYL fashion and:
Just my immagination 78 or 81 style
July 14th, 2005 08:47 AM
Gazza You cant catch me (b-stage)
Slave
Sway (I predict they will play EITHER this or "Slave" this tour. Each tour they unearth a long lost or never played fan favourite which fans have lobbied for on the 'net - eg Moonlight Mile, CYHMK)
Fingerprint File
Memory Motel
Torn and frayed (hopefully better than in 2002)
I Wanna Be Your Man (imagine THAT on a b-stage!!)
Lady Jane
have you seen your mother (one of the most obvious 60's hits that HASNT been played live in almost 4 decades by the Stones. Not a fave of mine, but I have a feeling they may unearth it)
Little T & A (a near cert this time, I feel)
Comin' Down Again (unlikely, but it'd be great)
July 14th, 2005 09:19 AM
gimmekeef How could I have forgotten...LOVING CUP!!!!!!!!
