corgi37 Ok, I'll bite. Where in the name of all that is pornographic is that photo taken? In other words: When, where, why? What the hell was he thinking? Thats another reason i love coming to this board. This board of mates and matesses. At my age, i thought i'd seen it all in relation to the Stones, but man, that pic takes the bloody cake. Fantastic!

gypsy It looks like a little kid's really BAD Halloween costume.

stonedinaustralia corgi - my guess - it was taken in '68 (well that's not a guess - that's what it says under the pic)- when mick, keith, marianne and anita took their holidays in south america (that was 68 wasn't it???)

Diedre It looks like the kind of make-up and get up in either the "Jumping Jack Flash" or "Child of the Moon" promos, can't remember which.

Unless maybe it's from that Peru book promoted here. But if so, it's a little strange, because the costume looks more like a North American native than a South American one.

F505 Picture must be taken around 1989. Mick on his way to chief Richards to bury the hatchet.

LadyJane Not one of my favorite shots..but I've seen worse (Mick in silver shorts holding a plastic sand bucket comes to mind)

I'd like to know the story behind this!

Phog Definately the "Child Of The Moon" video shoot.

M.O.W.A.T. Actually, it's from 1973. It's a little known fact that Mick was Marlon Brando's original choice to go up on stage and reject Brando's Best Actor Oscar for Godfather as a protest against the portrayal of American Indians. For some reason or other, Brando went with Sasheen Littlefeather. LOL

No problem K.D.! Did you see this one?..........

6th July 2004 08:27 PM
corgi37 Well, i like his look. Must try to get the Child of the Moon vid somehow. Downloaded Respectable from SNL 78 last night. Fantastic! Mick trying to "act" punk was hysterical. Spitting on the floor and scowling. Still looked goofy playing guitar though. His licking of Ronnie is one of the most brilliant thing i have ever seen.

Oh, i like that SARS pic too. Bit small, but then again, we live in censored times.
