if this was in NY I'd probably go. But its only being shown in NY via satellite from berlin.
and I've already met Daltry & Townsend... so its no big thrill to watch them on a video feed.
I'd go for the Stones however. I've gone to all the Stones PCs in NY except Central Park bc I was in the Bahamas that week. Blimp was silly anyway... |

The Kids are Alright....but this one is NOT for the kids (as opposed to the Stones mini tour....that is for the kids) |

Charlie puts up with a lot of nonsense that is beneath him just to play onstage for us.
I am very greatful. He is all class. |

Charlie is a classy man. He has punched out Jagger, and did it in a suit.
Charlie is, although, well compensated for his tolerance. Zak Starky is always for hire if he would have left....tsk tsk |

please delete your comments about Zak or ANYONE ever replacing Charlie. NO CHARLIE > NO STONES > PERIOD
and furthermore, Charlie is not compensated enough. I believe that 50% of gross earnings should go to Charlie. 50% to Jagger. And Keith & Ronnie be placed on a strict insentive/performance based salary.

note the tsk tsk after the Starkey......i felt it was appropriate with regards to the Who thread.
CHarlie is not replaceable, and is not compensated enough, although he is written a very large check. |

a large check yes. But he deserves bonus $$$$ on top of it. He is rock solid every night. Flawless.
The bonus $$$$$ should come out of Keith & Ronnie's paychecks. Dock them for every fucked up song!! |

I once heard Charlie hit a drum slightly off center on a '69 boot....that is about it.
You are correct. As a courtesy, Mick and Keith should give Ronnie's small song writing credits to Charlie and furnish him with a man servant (see: Bentley Farnsworth) |
