that works!! then i'm asked for a username and a password, so i fill in: warhorses (2 times); then: nothing..............

what does port 1009 mean ?? am I missing that part or am I doing something stupid otherwise??

yes you have to identify the port correctly (said port has to be forwarded to your machine if you are behind a router, firewall, or NAT). also you should be using an ftp client, not your browser to access the files. I use smartftp, which is free, and it allows you to queue the files...

if you insist on using your browser to pull files via ftp, you should use a syntax like (without the spaces after the colons):

ftp: //user: [email protected]: port/ - do NOT click the link, simply use it as a model...
