Message from the Chairman :
" The demand for our complete live show for 99 cents last night at Hyde Park was so HUGE it shook our Pay For View subscription service.
This - of course - is the well-known chesnut in big broadband webcasting. Lots of fuss, no show. Most people who subscribed got SOMETHING I think.
I (Pete Townshend) am sorry about this. Until we get something more robust sorted out (for extracting money from you we can give away to charity) I have decided to put up the Live segment of our webcast from each show for free. Whoopee!
THIS IS FOR THREE SHOWS ONLY. Those of you who have paid already, can have your money back (see the email service at the site), or be content to know the entire 99 cent for each night goes to charity.
The Hyde Park show is now being cycled now at www.thewholive.tv, so if you missed it, go and look - we were pretty damnned good.
Rachel and Mikey's IN THE ATTIC series will be unaffected, is webcast from the same address www.thewholive.tv and will always include a special Who clip, so look in. "
