Topic: Why do Keith's guitars look so good? Return to archive Page: 1 2

morocco Everytime I see Keith playing a certain guitar, I want that model, whether it's a butterscotch Telecaster, a Martin, a Gibson Hummingbird, or a black Les Paul custom.

How come every guitar looks so good in Keith's hands?

Steel Wheels It's simple, really. Keith Richards is a God among men. He's the greatest guitarist ever, in the greatest band ever. Rock and Roll's image is Keith Richards, so it's no wonder that musical instruments look great in his hands.

sammy davis jr. He pays somebody probably a rediculous amount of money to make them look good....and jeep 'em tuned. I always thought Ronnie had too many cool guitars to suit his abilities though.
2nd July 2006 11:15 PM
mark I've heard that the guitars come to Keith via collectors and dealers looking to unload some gear for instant cash and a bit of swag.

rollmops Keith loves his guitars. When he grabs one there is an emotionnal connection as well as a physical one. Emotions can be transfered onto persons, animals, objects, things. Not everyboby allows it to happen because it seems silly to admit it. I love my guitars very much as I love my old clothes. I started at an early age; I fell in love with a pair of socks at age 3. My mother had to throw them away as I was constantly asking for it at bed time. I know,it's fuck up, but it is true. So Keith's guitars look good because they are loved and handled as they should, with class and mastery.
Keith Richards rocks. Wellcome back Keith,
Mops

You're welcome.

That was like standing by an altar. Naturally we were told NOT to touch anything. Naturally I broke the rules.

Wish I had a pic of Charlie's drums. Naturally I started to cry and the photo didn't turn out.
