Soon to be loneliest post of the week, but what does yins think?
Mick Jagger played basketball in Cons. There.
I always go into NBA (and NFL) draft day unprepared because I never watch lame-ass college sports. Only guys who take Viagra watch college sports. But here goes:
Bargnani (Italian - presumptively white?) in first round - what a honor for this 20 year old, but I mean seriously, is he that good? I doubt it. I mean he's Italian, where will he be when things get tough? Puncing with the scungilli? I see a solid guy for 7 years, then a journeyman who gets picked up by playoff bound teams as a 6th man. Number one nickie??? Get da fuh.
Lamarcus Aldridge - You heard it here first - biggest bust since Joe Barry Carrol - the Bulls, the team the pulled snoot on Michael Jordan - take this half ass dude? Washout - 6 years in NBA max, probably with 3 teams.
Adam Morrison - Here he is, the latest great white hope - but the fucker can play, and knows The Score. Every black dude in the league is bitching foul right now over the ESPN commercials Morrison already ponied, but he fucking deserves it. I watched that guy, he can finish, he team plays, he can shoot, HUSTLES, he will play quality NBA ball. And look at Michael Jordan? You think he would take fucking whitey in the 3 spot if he didn't believe something special was there? "Michael Jordan is god in basketball shoes" - Larry Bird.
What do you guys think? More white got taken by Orlando, but best player and one I will all be talking about all by myself is Rudy Gay - that fucker can play - reminds me of the promise of Penny Hardaway (sigh, what promise). Quincy Douby looks good to. If he listens, he will be qual guard. |

Dear SirMoonie,
I agree with your thoughtful assessment of the draft. MY 2 young sons also concur. Ho0wevewr, in basketball, it often takes a trade or 2 , before a player eventually emerges. This year was somewhat uneventful, other than the great Jewish commissioner "Stern" talking shit with Dan Patrcick. In the end, all that matters is the Miami Heat defeated the white , David Haseelhoof loving, German, Dirk N.!!! Long live Britain, Israel, and the Czech Republic!!! |

Stern: With the 20th pick in the 2006 NBA Draft the New York Knicks select Renaldo Balkman
(crowd boos)
Stern: Renaldo Balkman is not here
(crowd boos)
Dan Patrick: ...and that's probably a good thing
absolutely classic!

on a more personal level, i am liking the farmar pickup. he will fit nicely, and the lakers, who were just a few seconds away from changing the whole playoff picture by advancing past phoenix, are definitely moving in the right direction...
meanwhile, let's see how long it takes mj and his ego to further ruin the charlotte team...
and i dont know who is worse, zeke in nyc or that gm running the show in atlanta - neither of them have a clue...
the portland gm seems a bit befuddled, too (i think they made something like 8 trades on wednesday evening, and for players that would have been there when they picked...
wednesday evening was quite enjoyable television viewing
speaking of which, jim gray is a little weasel - i had to laugh seeing him interview mitch k; gray had to be sitting on like five telephone books, and he couldnt ask any decent questions - mitch was laughing at him (glad to hear lamar isnt going anywhere)...

Jim Grey is alwasy despised for the Pete Rose all-star "attack"...he is very aggressive. Steven A. Smith , like Steward Scott is so over the top, it has lost it's humor. Jay Bilas is, apparently, the Mel Kiper of the NBA!!! Vital appears to dislike any kid who didn't go to college or foreign player..............> |
