winter called little T&A.

In '81 this was a highlight. Just watch it on Austin. AWFUL. Keith, play the frickin guitar, and when where there horns in this song.

All of you Ronnie knockers are delusional - keith is the weak link.

Throwaway THE lowlight of the new DVD set. I'm not giving up on Keith completely b/c "Happy" sounds fine, but T&A really requires him to bang out those open G riffs, which are completely absent.

wintah,

I wish Ronnie and Keith were like a seesaw -- one down, the other up. But your link/chain analogy discounts the possibility that both can be face down in the mud.

Bitch Little T&A deserves to be played for the classic Stones-style lyrics! Who cares if they dont play the guitars perfectly, hearing those words gives me a major thrill every time!!

LITTLE T & A
(M. Jagger/K. Richards)

She's my little rock 'n' roll
She's my little rock 'n' roll
The heat's raiding, the tracks is fading
Joints rocking could be anytime at all
But the bitch keeps bitching
Snitcher keeps snitching
Dropping names and telephone numbers and all

She's my little rock 'n' roll
She's my little rock 'n' roll

The scars healing
But the dealers squealing
The pool's in but the patio ain't dry
Well the sense is sensing
That the juice keeps pumping and I know why

She's my little rock 'n' roll
My tits and ass with soul baby
She's my little rock 'n' roll
She's my little rock 'n' roll
You got to shock them, show them
She's my little rock 'n' roll
Shock, shock, shock, oh my, my, my

Well the sense is sensing
That the juice keeps pumping and I know why
The bitch keeps bitching
Snitcher keeps snitching
Dropping names and telephone numbers and all

She's my little rock 'n' roll
My tits and ass with soul baby
She's my little rock 'n' roll
You got to shock them, show them
She's my little rock 'n' roll
She got a feeling to know, baby
She's my little rock 'n' roll
Ah, the little bitch got soul

I couldn't find a "Happy" from Frankfurt, but this is fairly disastrous:

25th June 2007 03:01 PM
Saint Sway maybe its time they stopped?

I wouldn't have said it in '05 or even '06. But now, yes, I say it's time to, as Mick put it once, hang up the number.
25th June 2007 03:07 PM
gimmekeef ???...81 had Ernie Watts starring in role of Chuck Leavall....every song same pace....some roarin slashing guitars follwed by a "lead" sax solo......
25th June 2007 03:14 PM
_Boomy_ I'm not sure about giving up, but they need to give up stadium shows.

Who cares about these big stages? It's all fodder. It's like they purposely do it so people get distracted and won't notice some of the screw-ups. I don't mind screw-ups on occasion (instrumental), but flubbing lyrics when you have them right in front of you is sort of f'd up, doncha think?

The arena shows I saw were the best of the bunch I went to. No empty seats, either.

Jumacfly Dudes are old but can still provide a fantastic show.

If you check the 2006 and 2007 versions of the shows, you will see how Keith has changed in only one year..
Happy from Rio is really better than our Euros versions....

I think Keith's arthrisis is getting worse and worse, you can call him lazy( I often do) but in Lyon I ve seen, sadly , a guy that was struggling to play.
My doctor told me the medicines for this type of problem were very strong and even stronger if mixed with alcohol.
Add the famous coconut fall, the brain surgery and you got it.
So I m not very surprised by the level of playing of our dear Keith, I feel very lucky as I ve seen him playing very well and focused last week.
Dude looks tired and need to sleep!!
25th June 2007 05:47 PM
Saint Sway thats awful

but in Keith's defense, Nijmeguen was only his 189,742nd chance he had to play "Happy" live

I'm confident that by the 200,000th time he plays it he will have all the kinks ironed out
