This week (and I don't know why) the album re-entered at #174 on the Billboard 200.
It's the first apearence on the US chart since January 10 when the album last apeared at #176. Forty Licks spend 48 wks on chart, including this re-entry.
Here the Soundscan numbers:

I'm sure it's on there because of Father's Day this past week. Lots of Stones purchased for all the fathers out there... |

Yes, very good point! Father's Day also helped Eric Clapton's "Me and Mr. Johnson" surge 127% on Billboard's charts...See other post.
Alos, buying tunes for the summertime helped bring FORTY LICKS back into the charts. |

Those sales figures , while respectable, are still amazingly low for their definitive greatest hits album which coincided with a massive tour and PR machine...I still will never understand why huge concert attendance has never carried over to their album sales....
