Topic: Header - New Barbarians Backstage or the Emotional Rescue Sessions? Return to archive
06-27-02 12:11 AM
VoodooChileInWOnderl Some weeks ago I posted a photo of this day; I have a doubt, I think is the New Barbarians backstage as iy¿t was taken in May 1979, but when I posted it, Mathijs corrected saying that is the Emotional Rescue Sessions

Does anybody here know the source? If it is the ER Sessions it is the Compass Point Studios (January - February) or the Pathé Marconi Studios /June - July).

Mathijs It's the ER sessions for sure -check the head phones Wood is wearing. Further, this picture comes from a quite heavenly spread set of pictures, used in many Stones books, and on some pictures you can see Bobby Keys too.

You said it. I had a fucking epiphany the night George Harrison passed, Dee Dee Ramone's death stung but didn't touch as personally, but this, this is saying "And now there's one left of the Holy Trinity." The Who just can't go on. So we've only got one group left out of the three that changed all of us forever.

The Rolling Stones.

Cant Catch Me Sympathy to all on the Ox's death.

But about the pic, I'll take Mathjis's word that it's the ER sessions, but I want to know WHAT THE HELL IS CHARLES MANSON DOING IN THE BACKGROUND??!!???

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board. The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
