chevysales:
Relatively speaking for a stadium show, I think those seats are pretty good, not great, but at least better than 60% of the other seats in the stadium. If you think there are any seats in a stadium setting that are really good (i.e., an intimate feeling), your kidding yourself. I sat 16th row, pretty much center for Bridges at Foxboro, and still felt pretty far away. Hell, the stage itself is huge. If you sat on one end of the stage, right next to Keith, and Mick was at the other end, Mick would seem far away (probably about 40 yards or 120 ft (or 40 meters for my transatlantic/canadian friends)). If you want to feel close, get a ticket to the Orpheum, or at least good seats at the Fleet Center. Thats what I did. But hell I am still going to the CMGI show, for 2 reasons - 1 I love the Stones, and 2 I want to see the spectical of the stadium show.
My earlier post was just to let people know that decent seats were available for people who want enjoy being at a Stadium show, and at least not be in the nose bleeds, for $100 per. Check the scalpers, these tickets are probably going for at least $200 per.
If that isn't good enough for you, don't buy 'em. For anyone who got tickets, enjoy the show.
I don't want to sound hostile here, I just think we should be encouraging people to post when they become of aware of tickets being released. It benefits us all.
Plus, what could be better than being outside on early fall evening in New England, listing to the Stones (LIVE), basking in the omnipresence of the yellow zepplin of the gods, the Maximus Blimpicus! For anyone who hadn't had tickets yet, I thought it was a good opportunity.
