That guy dancing in the first video was funny It seems like she got some of the words wrong and the back up singer sang something Stevie was supposed to at the end. Maybe she was still doing coke in those days?

Vinyl kills Yeah I thought the same thing. I think she stopped doing blow in 86 so surely she was high there.
25th June 2006 11:51 PM
glencar As soon as she stopped the blow, she got fat. Just like that chick from Heart. And Henley.
25th June 2006 11:57 PM
SheRat I love the song "Nightbird." It's the best song on that album.

That was too bad. She really looked good once. I wonder how she's doing. I kind of liked her.

jb Maybe there can make a remake of "Just like the white wing dove"?
26th June 2006 03:06 PM
texile i love waddy - pre-stones, i first heard him on my sister's linda ronstadt albums and loved that rauncy, twangy guitar.....than i read he was a stones' fan -
he was the key to my stones discovery.
26th June 2006 03:09 PM
jb He was great with Paul Schaefer, no?

Saint Sway Waddy is a good guitarist. He brings out the best in Keith. This is why he was brought in to cover for Woody on B2B.

sadly, he is not very busy these days. Does a weekly gig in LA.

the other Wino's have gone pop. Ivan's doing "Dumpstaphunk". Charley is drumming for Fionna Apple. Steve Jordan is in John Mayers band.

it brings a tear to my eye. Together they are a serious force - true raunchy rock-n-rollers. They need to form a rock band around a superstar or two and hit the road

1. it was mostly recorded in LA
2. the entire album is over run with session musicians
3. Ronnie has been basically absent since Dirty Work, no?

it was strictly about image and $$$, no?

Brian was dead. Wyman left. Taylor was long gone. They probably didnt think they could promote a Stones reunion tour with just 3 members.

Funny enough, I heard on the radio the other day that she'd undergone the gastric bypass surgery.

Her sister always did it for me, though - good God in heaven, what a magnificent babe!

would have been a bit harsh considering he co-wrote almost all of the album

If anyone was 'absent' in 1985, it was Jagger and Watts.

As said before, Waddy's on almost all of BTB. Thats his great solo at the end of Anybody Seen My Baby - the most gorgeous piece of playing on the entire album
