Flashpoint |
i think it's a fine idea if the stones look into some outtakes from previous recording sessions and record them for the new studio album...but not too many, so if you would have to choose 2 outtakes(1 rocker and 1 ballad)which ones will be?
For me..Criss Cross Mind and Trough The Lonely Nights(which didn't make for IORR....damn!) |

I love that Keith song from around the Some Girls era called "I Need You". Or the rocker called "Livin In The Heart Of Love" I think its called. Im really not that familiar with unreleasedd ballads |

T&A |
Fiji Jim is without a doubt my favorite all-time outtake. This is one of track '77 tracks that supposedly was updated and readied for release on the aborted Memory Hotel album in '99.
Others I wouldn't mind seeing on a new studio album:
Loving You is Sweeter Than Ever (cover)
We Had it All (cover)
What's the Matter?
Drift Away (cover)
I Need You

Boomy |
I would love if the Stones would put a cover of a song on this album. Like in the heyday of the Stones. |

Well for some reason I'm quite partial to those Taylor era instrumentals such as 'Leather jacket', 'Seperately', 'Aladdin story', 'Potted shrimp'
But the one recording the WORLD needs to hear is 'Street Fighting Man' from 'Liv'r than you'll ever be' - the Oakland 9/11/69 evening show.
A peak moment. |
